  Married: Marriage bans state, "June ye 14th 1799 This Day Published a Intention of Marriage between Mr Davis Wasgatt and Mrs. Sally Hadlock both of the town of Mount desert." The town records further state, "Said Salley his wife was born at Ipswich January ye. 14th year 1783," making Sally only 16 at the time of her marriage, and unlikely she was truly a widow or a "Mrs."
