  	Brownwood - H.L. (Cye) Buford Jr., 57, of Odessa, a native of May, died at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday at Odessa Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.-Additional services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood.-The Rev. R.J. Elkins will officiate. Burial will be in Greenleaf Cemetery.-Born July 30, 1919, in May, he was a mechanic and a member of the Elks Lodge. Mr. Buford was a Baptist. He moved to Odessa from May 30 years ago. He married Billie Jean Peevy in Cross Plains.-Survivors include his wife; two sons, Sammie of Seattle, Wash., and Randy Gene of Houston; a daughter, Jackie Sue Buford of Odessa; two brothers, A.L. of Waco and Joe of Brownwood; and three sisters, Mary Kimbrell and Marie McClelland, both of Brownwood, and Mrs. Melvin Charmasson of Woodward, Okla.
