      George H. Weymouth
Passed Away Friday of Last Week

A long and active life ended when George H. Weymouth died last Friday. Mr. Weymouth was an especially vigorous man, and enjoyed the best of health until a few days before his death, when he contracted a congestive chill that led to other complications, and ended in his death.

He was born in Maine, and came to California twenty-two years ago. He lived in San Diego a number of years, and the family came to Healdsburg about five years ago. Mr, Weymouth brought his family to the coast from Maine in 1884, settling in Washington, where he was engaged in the logging business for a number of years.

He left his wife and four children— George B. Weymouth. Mrs. Fred Boulden and Mrs. Jennie Plass of Healdsburg, and Mrs. Edith Hensel of Washington. He was a man of upright character, and had made many friends in this city who were sorry to learn of his death. He was seventy-four years old at the time of his death. The funeral was held Sunday from the undertaking parlors of T. G. Young, and the body was laid to rest in Oak Mound Cemetery.
