In order to obtain the benefit of the act of Congress of 7 June, 1832.
State of Maine,Kennebec County, ss.
On this 28th day of August A.D. 1832 personally appeared before the Hon. Nathan Weston, Junr, A justice of the Supreme Judicial Court, of said state,Nathaniel Tibbett a resident of New Sharon in the County of Kennebec and state of Maine, aged eighty years, who being first duly sworn, according to law,Dust on his oath make the following declaration, in order to obtain the benefit of the provision made by the Act of Congress, past June 7, 1832. That he enlisted in the Army of the United States in the year 1775 with Captain Timothy Langdon and served in Col. Cargill's regiment of the Massachusetts __ or troops under the following named officers: viz, Langdon Capt. & Cargell, Col. That he enlisted in that company & regiment as a private in April 1775 for nine months, that he served at Townsend harbour, Boothbay, Maine, in guarding the sea board & was verbally discharged there in January 1776.
That in March 1776 he again enlisted as a private for nine months in Capt. Israel Davis' company in Col. Mitchell's regiment of the same troops, that this period he served Out at the same Townsend harbour in guarding the seaboard& Was verbally discharged there in November or December of the same year.
That in 1780 he again enlisted as a private in Capt. Cole's company &Served for months that he also enlisted as a private in Capt. Moses chases company sometime in the same year 1780 and served five months. That he maybe mistaken in saying that his last two services were in 1780, they may have been in 1781 said Cole's & Chase's companies were employed in guarding the coast of Maine & Edward Emerson was Colonel of the regiment that he said Tibbetts faithfully served out ___ for which he enlisted & was then...

- Lot 88 Mortgage, Know all men by these presents, that I Nathaniel Tibbets of New Sharon in the county of Kennebec, yeoman, in consideration of three hundred dollars to me in hand paid by Pitt Dillingham of Augusta in the county of Kennebec aforesaid, gentleman, (the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge) do hereby give, grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Pitt Dillingham his heirs & assigns a certain tract or parcel of land lying New Sharon aforesaid & being on the west side Sandy river lot number eight eight on a plan made by Ephraim Ballard, surveyor, reference to said plan & survey being had with more fully appear it being the same lot on which my family now live in Newsharon & keep a ferry containing one hundred acres be the same more or less.To have and to hold the same to him the said Pitt Dillingham his heirs and assigns forever. And I do furthermore appear with the said Dillingham his heirs that I am lawfully seized in fee of the premises; that they are free of all encumbrances; that I have good right to sell the same. I will warrant and defend the same to him the said Pitt Gillingham his heirs and assigns forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons; whomsoever.

- Mortgage $400, Witness, Know all men by these presents that I Nathaniel Tibbetts of Wilton in the county of Franklin in consideration of $400 paid by Anna Drury in said Wilton widow woman the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, Sell and convey unto the said Anna Drury her heirs and assigns a certain tract of land situate in said Wilton and being same land deeded to said Anna by Daniel Eaton and Eden Eaten by deed of quit claim dated the 30th day of April A.D. 1836. Refer to said deed for bounds. To have and to hold the same to the said Anna Drury her heirs and assigns to her use and benefit forever. And I do covenant with the said Anna her heirs and assigns that I am lawfully seized in fee of the premises that they are free of all incumbrances that I have good to sell and convey the same to said Anna and that I will warrant and defend the same to the said Anna her heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of any persons.
Never the less that if the said Nathaniel shall pay or cause to be paid to the said Anna Drury to several notes of hands signed by Jesse L Tibbetts of this date one for one hundred & fifty dollars in one year & interest one for two hundred & fifty dollars in two years & interest then this deed to be void otherwise to be in full force.
In witness whereof I said Nathaniel Tibbetts have hereunto set my hand and seal this eighth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & thirty nine.

To have and to hold the same to the said Anna Drewry with all the privileges and opportunances thereof to her heirs and assigns to their use and benefit forever. And do covenant with the said Anna Drury her errors and assigns that I am lawfully seized in fee of the premises; that they are free of all incumbrances; that I have good right to warrant and defend the same to the said in a drawer read her heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of any persons.

Corner of Mr. Thos. Kenney’s Lot, Thence running West two Hundred and sister four Poles, to a Poplar Tree marked four sides Thence East course till it strike the Shore by a large Hemlock Tree marked Thence Southerly (as the Sor runs) bounded by the Shore to the first Bounds mentioned, to contain One Hundred & Thirty acres. To have and to hold the said remised released Premises to him the said William, his Heirs & assigns forever. In witness whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand and Seal this Sixth Day of March anno Dom. - Sale $600, Know all men by these presents I Nathaniel Tibbets of Boothbay in the County of Lincoln and commonwealth of Massachusetts Yeoman in consideration of six hundred dollars to me paid by Giles Tibbets of the same town, county, & Commonwealth aforesaid, yeoman, the receipt where of I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, Grant, sell and convey unto the said Gilles Tibbets is heirs& assigns for ever, a certain parcel or tract of land situated in said Boothbay & bounded as follows, viz, beginning at a birch tree standing on the west bank of Cross River so called, on Ichabod Tibbets north line, thence running west by North about one hundred twenty rods to land of said Giles Tibbets, thence North by East eighty rods to Benjamin Hutchings' South line, thence East by south to said cross river, thence Southerly by the shore of said River To the bounds first mentioned, containing Sixty acres more or less, contained within the bounds of aforesaid.
To have and to hold the afore-granted premises to the said Giles Tebbets his heirs and assigns to his & their use and behoof forever. And I do covenant with the said Giles Tibbets his heirs and assigns, that I am lawfully seizen in fee of the aforegranted to premises; That they are free of all encumbrances; That I have good right to sell and convey the same to the said Giles Tibbets his errors& AssignsIn manor aforesaid;And that I will warrant and defend the same premises to the said Giles Tibbetts his heirs and assigns for ever, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons, claiming from, by or under me. In witness whereof, the said Nathaniel & Abigail wife of said Nathaniel in token of her relinquishment of right or dower in the premises have hereunto set our Hands and Seals this fourth Day of May in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirteen.
