      Joseph L. Rogers, 72, of 306 North E, died Sunday at the Veterans Hospital in Dallas following a long illness.

      Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Lampton Funeral Home chapel with Barrett Fellows officiating. Burial will be in the Grant cemetery.

      Mr. Rogers was born Sept. 23, 1890, in Arkansas, and moved her six years ago from Texas. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a World War I veteran.

      Survivors include two sons, Wayne of the U.S. Army and Leonard of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Wheat in Germany and Mrs. George Wederski in Hawaii; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Robert Parnell of Hugo; a brother, Charles of Avra, Calif.; and several grandchildren.
