  Ruth Ann Goins Rogers died in New York in March 2015 per her children. When her kids were young, Dad would fly them to Louisiana to see her. She had been stuck in Houston during Hurricane Katrina and called Dad, asking him for money, which he sent to her. She went to New York after that.
